I don't know about you, but personally, I think many of the "anti-aging" products out there a lot of hype for absurd amounts of money. How about growing into maturity with grace and a kind-hearted spirit and not worrying so much about wrinkles?
So then, why do I have this "anti-aging" cream on my own bathroom countertop? Well, I live in the Arizona desert where the air is very dry so I have been searching for about a year for a face cream that has no fragrance smell and works. Turns out, this one labeled "anti-aging" fit the bill to keep my skin hydrated plus it's inexpensive and not filled with chemicals, either. I really like it. Along with my favorite unscented coconut oil, it keeps my skin from getting overly dry, but frankly, I don't really care about the "anti-aging" label.
More importantly, do you know why I have those beautiful flowers on my bathroom counter next to my new "anti-aging" cream? Because I believe that consciously infusing God's natural beauty into our lives puts a smile on our face, and that enjoying God's beauty He gave us is important to our beauty, inside and out.
That's my "anti-aging" beauty routine!
He has made everything beautiful in its time,
P.S. I recently read the book Nearing Home by Billy Graham and it's an interesting take on growing older with grace, gumption, and gratitude. I really enjoyed his wisdom in this little book that he wrote when in his 90s.
